I got Windows 3.1 this morning, and was all eager to try out the multimedia stuff [on my non-multimedia pc :-)], and was greatly disappointed to see that there was no PC-Speaker sound driver. So, I called up Microsoft's BBS and here it is. It really sounds horrible, but if you don't have $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for a sound board, it's better than nothing. Play with the speed and volume values - they can REALLY make a big difference. I found that on my computer (a Gateway 2000 386/25) a speed of between 280 and 290 and a volume of 10.0 works the best - PC-Speakersaren't that great at bass notes! Anyway, have fun! Matt Miller
